Laura is a hardworking and devoted single mother with a Master’s degree in Human Services. Despite her education and determination, she struggled to find employment that provided a living wage and began cleaning houses to support her family.

When Laura came to Caridad, Mrs. Schloner quickly recognized that she needed more than just help finding a better job. She needed support navigating finances, taxes, and resources for her children.

Today, Caridad continues to work alongside Laura and her family, including providing after-school support for her children. We remain committed to helping Laura achieve stability and reach her goal of homeownership next year.
